Overview:

Stylish vintage Cartier onyx choker necklace finished with a sterling silver and 18 karat yellow gold Mabe pearl set clasp (circa 1970s).

One 18mm Mabe pearl is set into the clasp. The pearl exhibits a glossy luster with rose & green overtones. The onyx beads are uniform is size and measure 6mm each. The onyx beads are individually knotted for added security. The Mabe pearl is framed with black enamel.
Designed in the Art Deco style, the necklace highlights the structural clean lines and bold look of the era. The 1970s era necklace is a Cartier classic, and we were lucky enough to acquire the entire set (the bracelet, earrings, and ring are also available for sale). The 5 strand necklace measures 15 inches in length and is designed as a choker necklace. It makes a wonderful statement for day or evening wear.

The necklace is in good condition with patina evident to the clasp. We have not cleaned the necklace in order to preserve the patina and collector value. It can be buffed and polished if desired. Also included is an extra 4 1/2 inches of onyx beads.
