This English, fancy link chain is exceptional. Its preciousness stems from extraordinary craftsmanship as much as its generous 33 grams of 15ct gold. Elaborate rectangle links and fanciful beaded links are joined by small engraved rings. The open work links are highly detailed and beautifully finished. The chain fastens with a handsome watch hook and split ring. Pendants, lockets, and fobs can be added easily to the hook and/or the split ring, but the chain is so gorgeous it happily stands alone. Circa 1860 - 1870.

Details.....The chain is 18" long. The large links measure .25" by .80" and the small links measure .22" by .33". This piece weighs 33 grams. In Very Good Antique Condition.
